Night race in Singapore, pole 29 for Rosberg in what was his 200th race and 22nd victory of his career which allowed him to return to the lead of the championship, but with a lot of drama. With 11 laps to go the German was about 22 seconds ahead of Ricciardo, but a different pit stop strategy and brake issues, gave him the victory by just 0.488 seconds.

There were 21 drivers at the start, as Haas failed to solve the problems with Grosjean’s car, after a crash in Q2.
It was a chaotic start: Hülkenberg and Sainz were involved in one accident while Bottas and Button also suffer problems in their cars, later to quit the race (it is the first DNF for Bottas this year). The accident forced the appearance of the safety car as Hülkenberg was out of the race. On Lap 6 Sainz saw the black and orange flag.

A race full of nice fights and once again Verstappen was a “great warrior”, mainly in the “war” he had with Kvyat.

Hamilton and Räikkönen also staged good moments in the fight for 3rd place (1.6 seconds was the final advantage of the English driver).

Vettel had a brilliant race. After starting the race at the back of the grid after several problems in qualifying he ended up in 5th ahead of Verstappen, Alonso, Pérez, Kvyat and Magnussen (which led Renault to score for the 2nd time this season).

With 6 races to go it’s impossible to guess who’s going to win the championship.

Within 2 weeks we will have the Malaysian GP.
