Am I A Nerd ? (Hope Not, But…)

Usually “nerd” is used pejoratively (The word was used for the first time in 1950 by Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr Seuss) on a book called If I Ran the Zoo).

 

Intellectually speaking I don´t consider myself a “higher being”, I am indeed very limited in many subjects and “genius” is the last thing anyone will remember to define me…

 

Am I “Anti-social”? No, although I hate “groups”…

 

Am I a specialist in anything? No.

 

Am I a leader ? Depends …

 

Technology? I love it, but I know nothing …

 

Do I like the “my world”? I do, but that at some point, doesn´t mean lack of contact with the real world …

 

I hate labels? Yes, and if I am not better than anyone, nor am I worse than anyone…

 

Am I arrogant? I don´t think so (but I can be wrong) …

 

I’m “different” and “special”? At the discretion of those who read me …

 

I am what I am, and the only thing I ask for, is respect…

Serei Um Nerd? (Espero Que Não, Mas...)

Habitualmente a expressão"nerd" é usada de forma pejorativa (Foi pela primeira vez usada em 1950 por Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr Seuss) no livro Se Eu Dirigisse o Zoológico ).

 

Intelectualmente falando não me considero um "ser superior", aliás sou muito limitado em inúmeros temas e "génio" é a última coisa que alguém se lembrará para me definir...

 

Sou "anti-social"? Não, embora deteste "grupos".

 

Sou especialista em alguma coisa? Não.

 

Sou um líder? Depende...

 

Tecnologia? Adoro, mas não sei nada de nada.

 

Gosto do "meu mundo"? Sim, mas em momento algum vivo desfasado da realidade.

 

Detesto rótulos? Sim, se não sou melhor que ninguém também não sou pior que ninguém...

 

Sou arrogante? Penso que não (mas posso estar errado)...

 

Sou "especial" e "diferente"? Fica ao critério de quem comigo lida....

 

Sou o que sou e a única coisa que exijo é respeito...
