Blogosphere was born formally in late 1997 when Jorn Barger created the word “weblog”, but the word “blogosphere” was only created in 1999 by Brad L Graham and that year it began to get a little noticed (in 1999 there were about 50 blogs), a figure that begin to rise on a large scale since 2002.

 

Everyday new blogs are born, others die as everything in life.

 

I’m in the blogosphere since 2007 and I don´t intend to leave it, as writing is something that I like very much – Some readers agree with me (almost always), others disagree with me (almost always) but that’s normal, I can´t please everyone – I’m not what some call ” an opinion maker” but I am happy to be able to express my opinions the way I want.

 

Those who say that the blogosphere has seen better days are wrong: Although it is difficult to find 100% reliable data, it is estimated that there are currently about 200 million blogs (although only about 5% of them “alive”), against 150 million in 2010.

 

It is also estimated that each day are created 120,000 new blogs and more than 1.6 million articles are posted.

 

The answer to my title question is obviously “YES”, and what is your opinion?

Estou na blogosfera desde 2007 e não a pretendo deixar, pois escrever é algo que me dá muito prazer - Existem leitores que concordam comigo (quase sempre), outros discordam de mim (quase sempre) o que é normal pois não é possível "agradar a gregos e a troianos". Não sou um "opinion maker" mas tenho total liberdade para escrever sobre o que quero e da forma que quero.

 

Aqueles que afirmam que a blogosfera já teve melhores dias estão errados: Embora seja difícil recolher estatísticas 100% fiáveis estima-se que existam actualmente cerca de 200 milhões de blogs (embora apenas cerca de 5% estejam activos) contra os 150 milhões de 2010.

 

Estima-se igualmente que todos os dias sejam criados 120 mil novos blogs e que 1.6 milhões de artigos sejam postados.

 

A minha resposta ao título deste post é obviamente "SIM", e o leitor o que é que pensa?
