Much has been said about double points in the last race of the season (it seems that it was the 1st and last time such a system has been used), but turned out to have no influence on the 2nd title for Lewis Hamilton.
Lewis Hamilton.
The new 2014 world champion.

Right at the start Hamilton reached 1st place and Rosberg would have to wait for a miracle in Abu Dhabi, something that did not happen. By the way Rosberg in the middle of the race started to have problems with the power of his car and although he finished the race, he was only 14th.
It was great race for Williams with Massa 2nd and Bottas 3rd.
Williams F1 Car.
Ricciardo was 4th (once more ahead of Vettel in 8th), Button (in what could have been his last race in F1) was 5th. Another nice race for Force India with Hülkenberg 6th and Pérez 7th. Ferrari team finished a miserable season with a poor result – Alonso and Raikkonen were in 9th and 10th.
Caterham returned and debuted Will Stevens (a british driver) who completed the race in 17th place.
Will Stevens.
Debutant Will Stevens finished in a satisfying 17th position.

I will write a detailed analysis of this great season on another post, but right now I just want to congratulate Hamilton and the Mercedes Team for their victory.
