The 1st European race of the year, just before the “race of the races”: Monaco – two weeks from now!
In Spain we had a great race with Mercedes showing their current superiority: 4th win for Hamilton and 4th 2nd place for Rosberg on their 4th “one in two”, after another fine fight between the 2 drivers (just separated by 0.6 seconds at the end of the race).
Ricciardo was 3rd, again ahead of Vettel, but the three times world champion had a wonderful race, after numerous problems in qualifying, which led him to the 15th position in the starting grid.
Bottas also performed a good race and finished 5th.
The Ferrari drivers had their private fight, and Alonso won: he was 6th, while Räikkönen was 7th.
Grosjean scored for the first time this season, so did Lotus, with a place 8.

McLaren continues to disappoint: a 3rd consecutive race with both drivers out of the points.
Sauber also continues to disappoint, but both pilots were able to finish the race.
Only 2 dropouts: Kobayashi and Vergne.
