Algumas Curiosidades Do Mundo Da Música LXXXIV - Tindersticks

Formados em 1992 por Stuart Staples (nascido em 1965) são uma das bandas "mais independentes" das bandas independentes. Staples  alia a sua voz baixa e nasal a poemas de excepção e isso é o seu grande argumento. 10 músicos já passaram pela banda, a qual até hoje já lançou 11 discos de estúdio, para além de bandas sonoras, colaborações e discos ao vivo. Uma sonoridade que "casa" o Jazz, o Soul e a música orquestral de forma sublime. Vendem muito? Não, mas são muito bons.

Disco - The Bloomsbury Theatre 12.3.95

Tindersticks ao vivo numa gravação no local indicado na data indicada, o qual inicialmente teve uma edição limitada a 10 mil exemplares em CD e 8 mil em vinil. Viu a "luz do dia" pela primeira vez em 1995 tendo sido reeditado em 2004. Cerca de 70 minutos ao longo de 15 canções, onde a banda demonstra toda a sua enorme qualidade.

Tal como o primeiro não tem titulo mas é assim conhecido. Staples (e não Maples como erradamente escrevi aquando do disco de estreia) "arrancou" em 1995 um extraordinário disco enquanto líder dos Tindersticks. 16 canções ao longo de cerca de 70 minutos onde o bom gosto (a todos os níveis) é o fio condutor.

Tindersticks ano de 2008. Mais um excelente disco da banda liderada por Stuart Staples. A conjugação textos/som é como sempre "imaculada" e as "histórias" contadas por Staples cativam-nos sempre...Muito bom gosto é o denominador comum a toda a discografia da banda
