I confess that I love this GP at “Marina Bay Street Circuit” in Singapore, a night race that ends with fireworks!

This year, the evening went to Hamilton with his 7th win of the season, which moved him to the front of the world championship. Rosberg had problems before the warm up lap and started from the pits and those problems forced him to retire on lap 14.

On lap 31, once again the “weird tradition” in Singapore – the Safety Car was on track – something that happens since the debut of this circuit in 2008. This time the reason was an incident involving Pérez and Sutil.
On lap 53, Hamilton changed tires and Vettel achieved something new for him this season – leading the race, but not for long however, the 2nd place finish was his best result of the season, as Ricciardo finished in 3rd.

Alonso has always been close to the Red Bull drivers, but had to settle for 4th place ahead of Massa in 5th and Raikkonen who was 8th.
Vergne in 6th, was in my opinion, the man of the day (night is more appropriate). He had a fantastic race equaling his best result ever, which had occurred in Canada in 2013.
Pérez even with the incident finished in 7th as his colleague Nico Hülkenberg finished in 9th and now Force India is in position 5. Vijay Mallya is doing a wonderful job as Team Principal.

Magnussen won the last point in dispute.
If Bottas in 11th, was one of the disappointments of the day (as Rosberg and Button), I think that Lotus Team did a nice job (even if they weren’t able to claim a single point): Maldonado in 12th and Grosjean in 13th was really ok.

Next race? Japan, two weeks from now!
