A perfect day for Mercedes in Malaysia – Hamilton won (and as he said, his 2014 Mercedes is “the best F1 car he has ever driven”) and Rosberg was 2nd – It was the first “one-two” for the team, since their return to F1 in 2010.

Vettel had to settle for 3rd place, while Ricciardo after a fantastic start, ended up quitting.

Ferrari remains discreet: Alonso was 4th (as in Australia) and Räikkönen (after losing a wheel) was 12th.

Mclaren hasn´t confirmed the excellent initial run (Button was only 6th and Magnussen 9th).
Williams is much better than last year, but not strong enough to dream about top positions (Massa was 7th and Bottas 8th, which turned out to be a good result considering the qualifying – places 13 and 18 respectively).

Hülkenberg did a nice job by placing his Force India in 5th position, and Kvyat too, who finished 10th in his Toro Rosso.

The Lotus managed to finish the race with Grosjean (11th), while Maldonado was involved in an accident with Bianchi.

13 of the 22 drivers finished the race, with 10 of the 11 teams (Sauber was the only team with both drivers out). Next Step? Bahrain, next week!
